WestShore’s Langford campus will be closing our StoreFront classroom at 3:00pm today. All orientation sessions that were scheduled for this evening are postponed and students are being phoned to reschedule.
Please see below for the message regarding SD62 Schools & today’s weather conditions that was just sent out to all SD62 parents:
Due to the variability of today’s weather, we would like to update parents on the school district’s plans:
-Schools will remain open until the regular dismissal times.
-We expect buses to start at the regular times although there may be delays due to weather.
-Parents who can are encouraged to pick up their children early from school.
-Staff will remain in the schools until usual dismissal time, though we expect regular instruction may not be offered this afternoon as school populations decrease.
-If there are any further changes we will advise parents via e-mail and the district’s website.
-We encourage parents to listen to local media outlets for updates as well.
