Dear Westshore Students,

On Friday, February 15th 2019, the office and Storefront are closed due to a Non-Instructional Day.

Monday, February 18th 2019, is Family Day and therefore will be closed as well. We hope you enjoy the break, have fun in the snow and spend time with your friends and family.

The office will reopen on Tuesday, February 19th 2019, at 8:30 am and the Storefront will reopen at 10:00 am the same day.

SD62 (Sooke) would like you to take a look at the following calendars and give us your input.

Your feedback is wanted: Draft SD62 calendars for 2019-2022

 

 

 

 

 

The school district has posted draft calendars for the next three years. Please provide any feedback you might have to info@sd62.bc.ca. Feedback will be open until Friday, February 22, 2019. The SD62 Board of Education must submit a Board-approved calendar to the government by the end of March.

Dear Westshore Students,

The Storefront Classroom will be closed from 9 AM until 12 PM on Wednesday, Jan 23rd, Thursday, Jan 24th, and Friday, Jan 25th due to Provincial Exams. It will reopen for continued support during the afternoons and evenings of each of these three days.

Dear Westshore Students,

Teachers of Online and Paper-Based DL courses will be on winter vacation from Saturday, December 22, 2018 until Sunday, January 6, 2019.  During this time, we encourage you to take a break and enjoy time with your family and friends.  Teachers are not expected to do any marking or respond to emails during the break. Students are free to continue to work on their course(s) and submit assignments, but marking will not resume until Monday, January 7.  Please recognize there may a delay before you receive your marked assignment(s) while teachers get caught up on their marking in the new year. Furthermore, please be aware that the Storefront Support Classroom is closed during this time as well.

“Students receive one free transcript at the end of their graduating year. Starting September, 2018,  this transcript will no longer be mailed home. This free transcript will be available for students to print or send on the StudentTranscripts Service.

“Students are encouraged to create a StudentTranscripts Service account prior to the release of assessment or exam results.”
