Home / Students / Christmas Grad Fundraiser

Hello Parents, Guardians and Friends of WestShore Students and Staff

The students and staff of WestShore Centre for Learning & Training are selling Purdy’s chocolates this season to fundraise to make our graduation festivities accessible to all students and their families. 25% of the proceeds from your Purdy’s order supports this fundraiser.

Please find attached a .pdf document that has very simple instructions of how to place your online Purdy’s order. We can gladly accept online orders until Wed Nov 29, 2017. Orders can be picked up at WestShore Centre for Learning Colwood Campus Dec 8 – 17 during school hours or hours of our Christmas tree sale fundraiser. If you are unable to pick up, please email Debbie Lodewijk dlodewijk@sd62.bc.ca to make alternative arrangements.

In addition, our students and staff will be volunteering their time to sell island grown, fresh cut Christmas trees plus many hand crafted gift and holiday items.

The Christmas trees are supplied by Saanichton Tree Farm and are grown in Shawinigan Lake and on Saanich farmland using sustainable farming practices. We are proud to offer a unique selection of up to 10 varieties of Christmas Trees including: Douglas Fir (cultured and wild “Charlie Brown” styles), Grand Fir (also known as Balsam Fir), Alpine Fir, Noble Fir, Green and Blue Spruce, Norwegian Spruce, Western White Pine, etc. Sizes range from 2 feet tall to custom orders as tall as 15 feet. Prices start at $10. We can gladly accept cash, Visa and MasterCard for all items at the sale.
